Description
An afternoon of sparring and dussack / messer, on Sunday the 22nd of March, from 1:30pm-5:00pm.
From 1:30-3:30pm, we will run a lesson on dussack / messer, according to Paurenfeindt’s book from 1516. He refers to the weapon as “messer” in his text but his illustrations show what look like early dussacks, making it either one of the earliest (potentially) dussack sources or one of the latest (potentially) messer sources.
After the taught lesson, we will open the hall for free sparring, for whatever disciplines you wish to practise.
The price for the day will be £15 if you book online in advance (club members are eligible for further discounts on this price), or £20 if you pay on the day.
