After managing to run sessions every single week in December, we must now suspend our in-person training sessions once again, due to sports clubs closing for the third English lockdown.
This means that from Tuesday the 5th of January until the week of the 15th-21st of February, there will not be any physical training sessions at the hall.
As before, we will move straight into running online sessions through Zoom.
For more details about the Covid rules and our club’s compliance, please see the Coronavirus Updates page. It is easier for us to keep that page up to date than it is to post a whole newsflash every time the government changes something!
Private tuition
It is worth observing that the new lockdown rules do allow for exercising every day, including permission to exercise with another person from outwith your household, as long as you both meet outdoors in a public place.
Therefore, there is some scope for arranging some private tuition if you would like to continue to do some kind of physical activity related to fencing, or if you are unable to participate in the online Zoom sessions. Please contact Keith if you would like to discuss it further.
Online material for solo training
If you would like to use some video resources to help with training by yourself, we do have a few online courses that should give you some useful material to train in your garden during the lockdown.
